Fly fishing We are pleased to offer to our guests fly-fishing for trout and shooting according to season. It is also possible to arrange bespoke riding itineraries exploring the surrounding countryside from the back of a horse.

Ryedale Photography - Digital Centre & Gallery
Photograghy Award winning photographers & experienced tutors Steve Gosling & Peter Heaton will be running a series of Photographic & Digital Imaging workshops based from the Gallery in Nunnington.
Their workshop programme is designed for all level of photographers, for a maximum of 6 photographers each with one workstation per person.

Moorland Trout Farm, Pickering

Trout Farm Pickering Trout Lake is well stocked with prime Rainbow trout from the nearby Moorland Trout Farm and offers a good days fishing for all ages and levels of experience. Horse riding Friars Hill Stables offer good pony treking and a great way to enjoy the countryside. It is a family run business owned by Alison Brown and combines professionalism with a relaxed friendly atmosphere.
