North Yorkshire Moors National Parks
North Yorkshire Moors The National Park Authority is trying to ensure that everyone can experience the different landscapes which make the Park the place it is. Eight fully accessible routes for wheelchairs and pushchairs have been developed through woodland, along riversides, by lakes, overlooking the Heritage Coast, through the heart of the moorland and around an important archaeological site.

Badger Watching, Cropton Forest

Badger Watching Join an organised watch in a purpose built enclosed hide located near Pickering. Bring a pair of binoculars and some patience and you should be rewarded with fine views of these elusive animals.
The hide is wheelchair friendly, please ask for details on booking. Wear soft 'quiet' clothing and if you bring a snack avoid 'noisy' sweets and crisps.
