Description
A 17th Century, Grade II listed cottage, which together with the Old Kings Head Cottage next door was originally a cruck-built longhouse. Two pairs of the crucks still survive in the cottage. In recent years the cottage has been tastefully refurbished retaining the beams and the pair of crucks. The cottage has full central heating with two double bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs, along with a downstairs shower room. The rear of the cottage adjoins the attractive grounds of the parish church, set in the heart of the market town of Pickering.

Ground Floor:
Entrance Hall: Front door leads into a spacious entrance hall, with a store cupboard to hold coats and shoes.
Kitchen: Fully fitted kitchen equipped with a gas range 8 burner cooker, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. Small breakfast table to seat two people. There is a full range of crockery, cooking pans and utensils
Lounge: Comfortable beamed living area with three seater and two seater sofas. 32" LCD TV, DVD Player, electric feature log burner set in a stone fireplace.
Dining Area: Spacious dining area with table seating six people.
Bathroom: Downstairs shower room with shower cubicle, basin, and WC.
First Floor:
Bedroom 1: A king size iron bed with built in wardrobes, chest of drawers and bedside cabinets with table lamps.
Bedroom 2: Double bed with bedside cabinet and built in wardrobe.
Bathroom: P shaped bath with electric shower over, wash basin, W/C.
Outside:
Garden: There is no garden with the cottage, although a garden seat is at the front of the cottage on the gravelled area.
Outbuildings: A locked stone outhouse which can accommodate bicycles.
Parking: Off-road parking for two cars,within a private courtyard, one directly in front of the cottage and the other on the side driveway  Please be aware the parking at the side of the cottage is quite narrow, especially if you have a large vehicle.
